New York tobacco cessation experts located at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System visited the Quit-Tobacco team at NC Prevention Partners. Patricia Folan is the Director of one of New York’s 19 Centers for Tobacco Control. She was joined by Christine Fardellone, who also works at the Center. The NCPP staff was joined by Gregg Stave MD JD MPH, who serves as Chair of NCPP’s Board of Directors. The NY and NCPP staff shared work on tobacco cessation with patients, employees, and youth. NCPP Senior Manager, Melva Fager Okun, shared information about our Quit-Tobacco program and also about our executive-level planning tool, the Patient Quit Tobacco System.
