New Events Calendar connects Programs and Schools for Obesity Prevention

Are you a program, organization, or business that holds events and trainings related to school obesity prevention? Would you like to post your events in a central place for schools and other organizations to find them?
You’re in luck!
On November 15th, NC School Health Connection launched its new Events Calendar page, thanks to suggestions from its Advisory Board members.
NC School Health Connection’s goal is to connect schools across North Carolina with programs and resources that help fight obesity. We are hoping this Events Calendar will allow programs to cross-promote events and link schools with opportunities to strengthen obesity prevention efforts.
How do I submit an upcoming event to the calendar?
- Click on the link at the very top of the Events Calendar page
- Fill out the short Events Calendar submission form
- If the event is aligned with the mission of NC School Health Connection, it will be posted within 2-3 business days.
We hope you will use this page to announce your events and to learn out about the many trainings and events going on around the state. And spread the news!
