How to Move to Zone Yellow

Congratulations to the 22 district and school teams who have reached Zone Green! These 22 Zone Green districts/schools have secured leadership support, assessed their campus and identified 2 priorities for healthy change. They are on their way to implementing exemplary nutrition and physical activity standards that earn them the $1000 Zone Health Award!
Before receiving the Zone Health Award, however, schools and districts must reach Zone Yellow. To earn this next level of recognition, teams need to complete the following steps:
Steps from to Zone Green to Zone Yellow
- Submit agenda and attendance records from 2 recent SHAC or wellness council meetings, as well as a copy of your SHAC or wellness committee's action plan
- Work together to implement healthy changes
- Improve your grades in 2 wellness areas when you repeat the Zone Health online Assessment by March 23, 2013
