All six NS-LIJ hopitals received the Bronze Star award.

Montefiore Medical Center became only the second hospital in NYC to achieve the Bronze Star.

As the first hospital to join the NYC Tobacco-Free Hospitals Campaign, as well as to achieve Bronze Star status, NYU Langone Medical Center is leading the way to help its employee and patient community quit tobacco and set an example for other New York City hospitals.
