Next, complete the Tobacco Module inside of the WorkHealthy AmericaSM Assessment. Your answers will generate a personalized Action Plan, which will help you to identify specific areas needing improvement and to assign team roles.
The Tobacco Toolbox, available through your WorkHealthy AmericaSM account, provides a wealth of resources to help organizations develop a comprehensive Quit-Tobacco program and give employees the best opportunity to become tobacco-free.

How do I earn the Gold Star?
To reach the Gold Star Standard in Quit Tobacco Systems, you must do the following:
- Submit your Executive Commitment Form
- Meet all 5 of the Key Components of a Comprehensive Quit-Tobacco System
- Have an Action Plan
- Provide follow up, distribute a concise summarization of quit-tobacco benefits and resources, establish a tracking system to document progress made and benefits used by tobacco users
- Earn final approval from NC Prevention Partners staff
