NC Prevention Partners’ WorkHealthy AmericaSM program is an easy-to-use, online tool that evaluates your organization’s wellness policies and gives you tailored resources to better support employees to be healthy at work. Any organization can participate in the program, regardless of size or sector.
On average, employers in NC waste $6,000 per employee every year on preventable medical costs, workers compensation, and lost productivity. Worksite wellness policies are a low-cost, high-impact way to improve employee health and productivity, without singling out particular individuals.
There are three major components of WorkHealthy AmericaSM:
Assessment: Based on nationally-recognized wellness standards, the Assessment takes you through your organizational Culture of Wellness as well as your policies, environments and benefits around Tobacco, Nutrition and Physical Activity to give you grades in wellness. The report card compares you to other employers of the same size, sector and region.
Tailored Reports: Once you have completed the Assessment, you will receive tailored and detailed reports on what to do next to get to all A’s in wellness. These reports help make the case for policy change, provide guidance on what to do next, and allow you to benchmark your success over time.
Implementation Support: Our toolboxes offer hundreds of tools, from model policies to case studies of success, that will guide you through your action plans and get you to all A’s in wellness. We also have monthly webinars on key topics and e-newsletters with late-breaking tools and news.
WorkHealthy AmericaSM is available as a one-year or multiyear licensing opportunity. A business can either individually sign-up for $3,000 annually or learn more about participating in one of our community Prevention Academy classes.
