NC Prevention Partners has been partnering with North Carolina health plans for over a decade to promote strong preventive benefits for nutrition, physical activity, and tobacco cessation. The Preventive Benefits Profile has served as a centralized tracking tool with detailed preventive benefits information supplied by the 9 commercial and public health plans in North Carolina. As of 2011, the Preventive Benefits Profile will be undergoing revisions to bring the tool up to date with the preventive benefit mandates in the federal Affordable Care Act. We welcome input on this process, with a goal of launching a revised tool and resources in 2012.
