WorkHealthy America Assessment

NC Prevention Partners’ WorkHealthy AmericaSM Assessment is an easy-to-use, online tool that evaluates your organization’s wellness policies and gives you tailored resources to better support employees to be healthy at work.

On average, employers in NC waste $6,000 per employee every year on preventable medical costs, workers compensation, and lost productivity.  Worksite wellness policies are a low-cost, high-impact way to improve employee health and productivity, without singling out particular individuals.  The WorkHealthy AmericaSM Assessment questions and resources are based on gold standards for worksite wellness and have been reviewed by national experts. 

Any organization can take the Assessment, regardless of size or sector. The best person to take the Assessment is someone who is familiar with your workplace policies and benefits (e.g., Human Resources Director or Wellness Committee). 

When you take the Assessment, you’ll receive:

  • A “report card” that grades your organization’s policies for tobacco use, nutrition, and physical activity
  • Access to tailored reports and resources to improve your grades
  • Comparison to other employers in your industry and region.
